When it comes to children's mental health, we're on the same team

Kids don’t always wear their thoughts on their sleeves, so we don’t know what they’re going through.

That’s why the Columbus Crew teamed up with The On Our Sleeves Movement For Children’s Mental Health to break stigmas, provide access to free children’s mental health resources and raise money for creating expert-informed tools for parents, teachers and coaches across the U.S.

Helping Youth Athletes Focus on Mental Health

In sports, there is natural pressure to perform – which can impact kids’ mental health. And parents are concerned too.

According to a recent survey of the On Our Sleeves eCommunity:

  • 66% are concerned or very concerned about their young athlete’s mental health
Only 20% agreed that mental health is currently being discussed as part of their children’s sports teams
