Your Challenge: Volunteer or help someone!
Make time to volunteer somewhere in your community or help a friend, family member, or neighbor with a project they need help with. Have your child join in on the decision of where to volunteer or who to help.
Volunteering has been found to help with happiness and self-esteem! Plus, volunteering as a family can be a wonderful way to spend valuable time together.
Not sure where to start? Think about things your family cares about. If you love animals, contact an animal shelter in your area. If you like reading, see if your local library or nearby hospital has volunteer opportunities.
Many schools, community and religious organizations rely on volunteers for all sorts of help. You can also ask friends and family where they volunteer.
